APIConfigurationInterface: ZoomTransparencyConfig

Interface: ZoomTransparencyConfig

Zoom-based transparency for a 3D model, applied as a hard threshold.

At or above ZoomTransparencyConfig.zoom, the model renders with ZoomTransparencyConfig.opacity; below it, the model is fully opaque (opacity: 1).

The config uses opacity (Three.js semantics) rather than transparency: 1 is fully opaque and 0 is invisible. For example, “95% transparent” is opacity: 0.05.

Example

// From zoom 20 onward, fade the model to 95% transparency. const zoomTransparency: ZoomTransparencyConfig = { zoom: 20, opacity: 0.05 }

Properties

opacity

opacity: number

Opacity applied at/after zoom. 0 = invisible, 1 = opaque. 95% transparent = 0.05.

zoom

zoom: number

Zoom level at/after which ZoomTransparencyConfig.opacity applies (e.g. 20).
